One of the things people consistently tell us matters most during rehabilitation is not just the clinical care, it's the environment around it.
Train alongside motivated people, supported by staff who set high standards and help you get the best out of yourself.
A rehab culture that normalises the hard parts of recovery, with support that extends beyond one-on-one treatment.
Build confidence through consistent attendance, structured progression and regular exposure to adequate intensity for optimal performance.
Professional-level structure, care and standards — regardless of whether you are a professional athlete or a weekend warrior.
The equipment's great but the people are what really make it special.
Training alongside others who are going through similar processes creates something that's difficult to replicate in a standard clinic setting. It's one of the defining features of the High Performance Rehab Program.
Gain access to the Sydney West High Performance Facility through our high performance programs including our high performance membership and our junior long term athletic development programs.
Gain access to your training programs, get real-time performance tracking, and seamless communication with coaches through the Teambuildr mobile app.
Athletes can access tailored workouts, monitor their progress with integrated wearable data, and stay connected with their coach via messaging.
Our High Performance rehab programs offers full guidance for a safe and successful return to sport. It provides a structured, evidence-based approach that progresses through protection, strength, neuromuscular control, agility, and sport-specific training.
All rehab memberships include a gym membership which gives you access to unlimited supervised High performance rehab gym and field classes, Gym access, and recovery pools.
High Performance memberships give you access to our state-of-the-art performance equipment including anti-grav treadmills, VALD Force Frames, Compex and Cryocuff.
We have programs tailored to the athlete’s recovery timeline, ensuring optimal performance development while minimising re-injury risk. With clear benchmarks, expert support, and performance testing, athletes are fully prepared for a confident and complete return to their sport.
Standard physiotherapy works well for many injuries, but for more complex or longer rehabilitation pathways, particularly those involving surgery, return-to-sport goals, or ongoing strength rebuilding, the ad-hoc approach often falls short.
Progress slows between appointments when there's no plan to follow
Momentum drops off, especially during the middle stages of recovery
Patients get symptom management rather than genuine progression
Confidence to return to activity takes longer to build
Built to address exactly those gaps. Combining regular clinical input from SWSM practitioners with access to supervised training sessions, a structured progression framework, and a training environment that keeps people accountable and moving forward.
Regular practitioner appointments throughout your program
Access to guided rehab and running sessions each week
A clear framework matched to your stage of recovery
A training environment that keeps you moving forward
The SWSM team brings a level of clinical experience that isn't common in a private practice setting. Our practitioners have worked at professional and elite sporting levels – and that shapes how we approach rehabilitation at every stage.

Programs are structured across three timeframes, matched to the nature of your injury, your stage of recovery, and your goals.
Suited to shorter rehabilitation pathways, targeted return-to-function blocks, or structured early-stage progression following an acute injury. Ideal for those who need more than a handful of appointments but have a clear endpoint in sight.
Designed for injuries requiring medium-term management – including progressive strength work, running exposure, and regular clinical review. Common for post-surgical recovery or more complex soft tissue injuries.
Built for major injuries requiring long-term, staged rehabilitation and return-to-performance planning. Particularly suited to ACL reconstruction, Achilles repair, and other significant orthopaedic procedures where the recovery pathway spans the better part of a year.
We're happy to have a conversation first. Most people find it useful to talk through their injury, where they're at in recovery, and what they're hoping to get back to before committing to a program.
No. While many people in the program are working toward a return to sport, the High Performance Rehab Program is open to anyone who would benefit from a more structured approach to recovery. This includes people returning from surgery, managing longer-term tendon or joint injuries, rebuilding strength after a significant setback, or simply wanting to get back to physical activity with more confidence.
Yes. Many of our program members enter following surgery – particularly for injuries such as ACL reconstruction, meniscus surgery, Achilles repair, or shoulder reconstruction. Program length and structure are matched to your procedure, your current stage of recovery, and your expected pathway.
In most cases, yes. Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology appointments completed as part of the program can generally be claimed through private health where eligible. Some patients may also be able to access insurance funding depending on their sport, injury, or claim circumstances. We’re happy to help you understand what applies to your situation.
This depends on your injury, stage of recovery, and program structure – but most members combine regular practitioner appointments with supervised rehab sessions across the week. We currently run rehabilitation classes across four days per week, including supervised gym-based rehab and running sessions. Program members also have access to the facility during opening hours for additional training flexibility.
No. We’d usually prefer to have an initial conversation first – whether that’s a clarity call or an initial appointment – to work out whether a 3, 6, or 12-month pathway makes the most sense for where you’re at.
